Shrek Forever After (3 stars) Either I'm getting too old for this, or these characters are not aging well. This final chapter is not bad, but it has lost much of the magic and charm that was in the excellent first two installments and even the whimsy of the third. The voice actors don't seem to be as engaging and the story is a bit tired. Even the villain is fairly lame. The animation is still very good, and the characters conform to expectations. Merely good when I was hoping for more.
