As a Friend Sharpens a Friend
✨ NEW BLOG POST ✨ "Trust God. Let him take you on a wild drive blindfolded, knowing you will end up exactly where you are meant to be. Knowing that no matter what, the destination is good and perfect. God may be a wild lion, but he is also the greatest friend who is waiting to frolic in a field with you." 🌱 There is no greater friendship than the friendship you can have with God.
The Well Practice: Conversation 6
Jesus experienced the ultimate pain. We've all experienced pain and disappointment and we will continue to experience it. This week's conversation in The Well Practice is all about that pain. The pain we struggle through but are never alone in. 🤍 Talking about our greatest pains can be almost as painful as the original hurt. It takes strength and bravery to share your journey. Remember that you are brave. And most importantly remember that Jesus is with you through it all. 💗
Happy Birthday Nicole!
Happy birthday to our hardworking, beautiful co-founder NICOLE!! 🥳 She is ALSO a woman after God’s own heart; dedicated, strong, and loyal, her faithfulness to Jesus is a big part of why we have The Well today. We love you Nicole and we are so grateful for you, today and always! 💕🎈
Lies & Labels
Whether they're from you or from others. We all have labels and lies pinned to us. Labels we work so hard to erase. Lies we believe but hate. They become a false definition of who we think we are and how we see and interact with the world. This week in The Well Practice we learn how to shed those lies and replace them with the truth of who we are according to the one who created us.
Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends! 🦃 This Thanksgiving has got us thinking about what a Thanksgiving hosted by Jesus would look like... ♥️ “When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you.” // Luke 14:12-14
Your Body Came at a Cost
✨ New Blog - Your Body Came at a Cost ✨ The bodies we criticize and hate are the same bodies that Jesus paid the ultimate price for. "Daughter of God, be encouraged that you are so much more than the power that you have to catch someone’s eye or attention. The praise of people is cheap and fleeting, but God’s view of your body is proven by the price He paid and His conscious choice to make your body His most holy dwelling place."
Conversation 4: Love Stories
The greatest love story in your life should be the one between you and Jesus. 💕 We can't believe we are already in week 4 of The Well Practice! 💕 This week is all about love. The love that's hurt us. The love we miss. The love we dream of. And the only love we really need.
Amen. The word we tend to thoughtlessly tack on at the end of a prayer. But, amen is not merely a closer or a signifier of the end of a good prayer. Amen is a declaration of truth. The only way we can declare our prayers as absolute truth is if we pray according to God's will. Lord, your love is unending and your plans are perfect. May our prayers, praise, and lives be a reflection of that truth. Amen 🙏
Conversation 3: Testimony Night
It's testimony week. 🤍 Conversation 3 in The Well Practice is all about sharing in each other's brokenness. We are all broken and there is beauty in that brokenness and how God uses us not in spite of it but because of it. There is strength in sharing our stories and our pain. When we lay everything out in the open we give God space to redeem us. 🙏🏼
Happy First Day of Fall!
We love sunny days spent at the beach eating ice cream and getting a tan. But there is just something extra special about fall. 🍁 Watching the slow progression from Summer to Fall it's hard not to be in complete awe of God and all He has created. Happy first day of Fall! Treat yourself, and maybe a friend, coworker, or even a stranger, to something special today. 🧡
Conversation 2: The Wells We Dig
Week 2. Conversation 2. The Wells We Dig. We're diving straight in this week with The Well Practice annnnd it's a deep one. 💧 We reflect on the places we go looking for love and validation - and why we’ve gone there. These things, more often than not, leave us feeling empty, but we have One who is the solution to our relentless thirst. ♥️ Where have you gone looking?
Read this when you get it wrong
✨New Week. New Blog✨ "We see, feel, and believe the love of God for other people, but so often forget that it covers us too. Our brokenness is not in spite of our salvation, but the very reason why it was necessary in the first place." You're going to mess up. What matters is what you do when the inevitable happens. Read on for some wise words on how to give yourself the grace you deserve. 💕
Jesus Valued Women
In a patriarchal society, all 4 Gospel writers chose to show that women played an important role in a society that tried to silence them 🤐 Jesus was all about breaking through those cultural norms and valued the voice of women! Although others did not accept the words of women, Jesus risked the success of his ministry to make sure they had a place in history. Women were the first missionaries, evangelists, and preachers!
Week 1: The Loudest Voice
It's week 1 of The Well Practice🥳 ✨ 📣 Conversation 1 is "The Loudest Voice", a topic that couldn't come at a more appropriate time! There is a cacophony of voices, influences, and opinions all around us. Will you let Jesus' voice be the loudest of them all? We are praying that as the Lord speaks you are ready and waiting to listen🙏. This is the first week of a life-changing experience and we will be praying for you every step of the way.
