7th Grade Natural Loom Weaving
Students learned about fiber art and constructed their own loom using 3 sticks. The sticks were painted with various patterns using acrylic paint and tied together to create a triangle shaped loom. Warp thread were tied no more than a finger width apart. Students were asked to create a color pattern in their weaving. When finished with the weaving students tied the looms together to create a collaborative piece.
