The Fresco Painting course takes students on a journey through the history of mural painting techniques. Students learn how these techniques evolved over time—focusing in the end on pre- and post-Renaissance frescoes. SACI’s Palazzo dei Cartelloni Gallery is approximately 675 square feet, has high vaulted ceilings, movable partition walls, and is adjacent to our courtyard garden. At the end of the Fall and Spring semesters, the gallery hosts group exhibitions of works by SACI Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Sculpture, Ceramics, and Photography students.
