Every year, I love seeing what the color experts at Pantone choose for the color of the year. For 2015, Marsala is the winner. The name is fitting as it definitely reminds me of wine colors with its red-brown tone. Other words like plum, eggplant and light burgundy purple also come to mind when describing this shade.
