With my lovely Fox and bird linocut shapes I have created this monoprint (that is, there is only 1) in a soft baby blue with green leaves, very cheerful and present. I have inked up my linocut shapes and printed them together on a piece of bright white paper first running some of them over fabric, to get texture on the ink on certain parts.
