Who is she? Seems to be holding the bike, not just standing next to it. Flying Merkel motorcycles were made from 1908 to 1912. In 1910, the motorcycles carried the famous name of "The Flying Merkel" The brand's association with racing was so prominent that race versions of the 1910 Flying Merkels could be ordered directly from the catalog.
