We’ve seen our fair share of unique modern home designs like the box-shaped metallic house or the abstract fortress made of concrete, but Mexican architect Juan Carlos Ramos has taken on a form less-visited for his aptly titled project Pyramid.
Bruno Julius Florian Taut May 1880 – 24 December was a prolific German architect, urban planner and author active during the Weimar period. He is known for his theoretical works as well as his designs and buildings.
Peter Behrens (1868-1940) begins his career as an architect at Darmstadt, and he quickly becomes the foremost German designer of the period. Behrens strives to unite art with technology, and his buildings emphasize simplicity, flatness, careful ordering, and structural delineation. His theories and designs influence later architects associated with the Bahaus, including Walter Gropius, Mies van der Roher, and Le Corbusier, who all work in his office.
