To my friend who was very impressed by a photo of Palazzo Farnese in Rome. My husband had to study this palazzo and found the floor plan in a book. The palazzo was designed by Sangallo in 1515. The top storey was added by Michelangelo (1546).

I saw the columns through the open doorway and had to stop and check it out.
