Pink in a Sea of Blue
It was the afternoon of September 9th, 1995. The church was decorated. The groomsmen, bridesmaids, maid of honor, best man, and ushers were dressed. People were arriving and taking their seats. The music started playing and my brother walked me down the aisle. It was a beautiful day. It was my wedding day. Happy 15 Harvey! Know that I love you and that I know just how very blessed I am. Thank you for hanging in there with me. :)
Antique Upjohn medical item: creosote and iodine tablets...chocolate-covered! Used to treat "consumption", better known today as tuberculosis. Pills were tiny since creosote could only be given in small doses. (from my personal collection)

Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Oil can 1960s
This is an all original Singer brand oil can in as found condition. There is no cap but I may be able to source a cap though it may not be green. Has no barcode and a price of 30 cents so it's most likely from early 1960's. It's about a quarter full.
A History Of 'Snake Oil Salesmen'
Where'd the phrase "Snake Oil Salesman" come from? It conjures up images of seedy profiteers trying to exploit an unsuspecting public by selling them fake cures.
