Tyrrell County Confederate monument in Columbia, NC. This is one of the prettiest monuments I've been able to see because it has multiple inscriptions all around it. One inscription, which is on the reverse side and would probably face a good bit of criticism if it were more widely known, is notable in that it says, "In Appreciation Of Our Faithful Slaves."
