Retired cop claims his father was 1940s serial killer
My father killed the Black Dahlia and NINE other women, claims retired detective who says he's discovered his dad's a serial killer. Steve Hodel believes his father was responsible for as many as ten unsolved Hollywood murders from the 1940s. Hodel’s father fled to Asia in the late 1940s, leaving his family behind.

Elizabeth Short Elizabeth Short was a 22-year-old aspiring actress who was gruesomely murdered in Los Angeles. Short achieved fame post-humously when her story was sensationalized by the media, and she was dubbed the Black Dahlia.The case was never solved. "The Black Dahlia" was a nickname given to Elizabeth Short. Short's severely mutilated body was severed at the waist and completely drained of blood. Her face had been slashed from the corners of her mouth toward her ears, creating an effect called the Glasgow smile. Short also had multiple cuts on her thigh and breasts, as well as cut in half.
