Lettice Knollys - Great-niece of Anne Boelyn and granddaughter of Mary Boelyn, making her a cousin of Queen Elizabeth. She was the mother of the infamous Earl of Essex, whom Elizabeth had to execute. She married the Queen's favorite, Leicester, something Elizabeth never forgave and for which she had Lettice permanently banned from court.
