Must remember this. When multiplying by 9 The first number of the answer is 1 less than the number being multiplied by. Example 8x9 the first digit of the answer is 8. The second digit in the answer plus the first when added together must total 9. So the second digit of our answer must be 1. Thus our answer is 81.
