Having read a few reviews of this vintage I didn’t expect anything from the Sassicaia 1997. But big surprise! Such a beautiful, elegant and balanced wine. The delicate nose shows black ripe fruit and classic forest floor. Endless finish. If you love the typical Sassicaia finesse style and don’t need to drink blockbuster points this bottle is yours.
