Evaporated walnut on the left and walnut in its “raw” state on the right. Somehow something went wrong with the process of evaporation of that board. I ventured into this abandoned olive grove near my house armed with chainsaw and edge trimmer to uncover this spectacular olive tree. This tree must have been dead for about 35 years. I always liked geometry class when I was in school. It gives me a sense of fulfillment. Somehow it is comfortable that, for example, the sum of the three angles of any triangle is always 180 degrees. Solid geometry is the next level.
