I agreed to make a giftbox of cupcakes for a friend who raises money for charity. It is being given away as a raffle prize. For some reason I hadnt written it down in my diary and this morning had an email saying still okay to pick up at lunchtime ? so rushed to put the oven on and while they were baking I made a few decorations ! thankfully she hadnt just turned up at my door ....

Chocolate sponge with caramel filling. This picture shows the spotty fondant decoration.

Another way of using the snowflake cutters! Although I think this would look better on a big cake. I have made a tree before the Pat Ashby way using her Fantasy Flower cutters and so I thought that her method might work well with the snowflake cutters ..... and I think it did! Cupcake fondant covered, "tree" made out of Mexican paste with a piece of raw spaghetti down the middle to support it! Made Explore 12.11.2008.
