This newly-crocheted thread doily has six pineapple motifs and measures about 12 inches across. It was crafted with a steel hook and 10# cotton thread in mint green. This pattern is from the 1946 Coats and Clark's crochet book Pineapple Designs. It's the bread-and-butter doily from the pineapple place settings. Center is crocheted in the round while pineapple tips are crocheted separately. Lovely for Victorian or traditional decor. Can also be used as a motif for embellishments.
