Tokuda Magodayu Shigemori - #37 (1847-48) Poised with upraised sword behind a painted screen, Shigemori is ready for action. Shigemori was an expert at Japanese fencing. He took the oath to be a member with his son, Tadaemon. The text related that though he was 50 years old at the time of the Kono attack, he was still as effective a warrior as his younger comrades.
