The work criticizes the tax relief governed by article 119 of legislative decree no. 34/2020: deductions and reimbursements for construction interventions. The relief has proven to be a speculative game as the cost of building materials has more than doubled since the introduction of the decree. Despite the subsidy, the costs for renovations were more expensive than before the decree: «[…] with this subsidy you pay half more than double».
