The jade vine, Strongylodon macrobotrys, is native to the Philippines. It's pollinated by bats which may account for its unique flower colour. It's ideal for growing over a pergola where its trusses can hang down and be appreciated at head height. As indicated by its place of origin, it doesn't tolerate cold and will start to be unhappy below about 15℃.
