A journey that begins with first-hand observation and ends with complex, three-dimensional pieces, Halima’s AS and A2 Textile projects are superb exemplars for others: some of the best Textile sketchbooks that I have seen.

The reason why I chose this image was because it is a close of textile manipulation with ripping and dyes. Having a bit of a fabric pom obsession of late - winter tweeds, but I think this could be the start of something from spring!
