Here’s my opinion⤵️

First save this. It’s a life saver during pregnancy.

Most of the time there are ways to relieve the pain.

🤯Pain is not just a part of being pregnant.

Anyone who dismisses it should be smacked. Sorry not sorry.

Thank you to one of our team doulas for this video demo.

This movement aids in releasing the PSOAS muscle during pregnancy.

‼️having a strong and health PSOAS helps with⤵️

➡️low back pain and leg pain

➡️ open the pelvis

➡️ gets the hips and pelvis aligned (a win for fetal positioning)

➡️ helps with fetal engagement

When to do it:

✅ if you have shortness of breath during pregnancy> that can be a sign that it’s tight

✅ tummy aches and constipation

✅ you sit a lot during the day (like me at the desk working)
Do you have tension in your lower back or you need baby to move down into the pelvis? Then "shaking the apple tree" may be a technique that you need to know about! Here's how you do it: 1. Take a long cloth and get down on all fours, or with you leaning against a birth ball, and your partner behind you 2. Have your partner pull the fabric nice and tight across your hips and glutes, and put pressure on either side of your hips. 3. Jiggle back and forth
Here are my best tips: 1️⃣ Pillow Paradise: Use pregnancy pillows for extra support. 2️⃣ Left is Best: Sleep on your left side to improve blood flow. 3️⃣ Magnesium can help you relax, feel sleepy, and reduce the feelings of restless legs, in turn, helping you get better sleep. 4️⃣Soak in an Epsom salt bath before bed. Create some relaxation rituals like gentle prenatal yoga or meditation before bed and opt for light, healthy snacks to avoid discomfort.

But if the baby is healthy and delivers fine it’s pretty fascinating to see. So happy @wildoakbirth posted this video. Thank you! Knots usually happen when baby is snalll enough to do some gymnastics and swim through a loop. As they get bigger it can tighten into a knot. If it gets too tight it can cause serious issues. But it is not common. No fear here ok?

3 Myths About Having Sex When Pregnant
Myth: Penetration harms the fetus. Babies are protected by the uterus and cushioned by amniotic fluid. The opening to the cervix is sealed by your mucous plug. Protecting the little love from infection. Chances are very slim his banana will hurt that baby! Myth 2️⃣: sex during pregnancy always induces your labor At the end of pregnancy sex can help kickstart labor. But it takes a lot of sex. A lot of semen. Good old fashioned O’s and you’re body needs to be ready. Warning: if you are at risk of preterm labor listen to your provider’s rules not me Myth3️⃣: Oral sex during pregnancy is unsafe You can and it might be more comfortable at times then penetration but there is a caution. Myth 4️⃣: The baby will be psychologically scared by sex
