The horses are our "working partners." We provide a wide range of safety-conscious programs at our facility, as well as other locations, to over 80 schools, agencies and organizations. Our students’ success is achieved largely through the relationship with the horse; he is non-judgmental, provides immediate feedback and, as a subject, offers unlimited possibilities to grow mentally, physically and emotionally.

Inner-city first graders spend the day at Little Brook Farm. Every child got to watch a riding demonstration, groom and ride a horse, participate in stable management practices (cleaning stalls, feeding horses, etc), clean tack, construct and play in a hay tunnel, watch the farrier trim hooves, have a picnic lunch, meet the newest rescue horses and learn about equine welfare, AND go on a hike! It was an exhausting, but wonderful day for all involved!
